Temperatures at Antarctica exceeded 20 deg Celsius for the first time ever on Feb 9. The reading of 20.75 deg Celsius was taken at a monitoring station on Seymour Island, which is off the coast of the Antarctic Peninsula at the northern end of the continent.

Climate change, or global warming as some inaccurately call it, has taken its toll on many landmarks we have come to know and visit and love.
